ShelterBox
Right now, around 104 million people around the world have been displaced by natural disaster and conflict. ShelterBox works to change that.
ShelterBox is a global organization made up of people who believe in shelter as a human right. The Clackamas Rotary Foundation has provided funding to support ShelterBox and the work it does for more than 10 years, donating well over $10,000.
When people are plunged into crisis, normality is suspended. But a good, quality shelter can cut through the chaos. ShelterBox provides tools that enable people to rebuild homes and transform their lives. By providing emergency shelter and tools for displaced families, ShelterBox helps transform despair into hope while working toward a world in which no family is left without shelter after disaster.
